Announces Drake and Mr Hudson will be Special Guests on his UK Dates
 
 
London – Monday 26 April– Live Nation and Roc Nation are delighted to announce that both Drake and Mr Hudson will be appearing as Special Guests on JAY-Z’s summer headline shows.
 
JAY-Z, Drake and Mr Hudson will play Manchester’s MEN Arena on Monday 7th June and the LG Arena in Birmingham on Wednesday 9th June, topping it off with a headline performance at Wireless sponsored by Barclaycard in London’s Hyde Park on Sunday 4th July which features Lily Allen on the bill. JAY-Z picked up  the Brit Award for the Best Male Solo Artist category at this year’s ceremony. The critically acclaimed – THE BLUEPRINT 3, featuring the UK chart-topping ‘Run This Town’ with Rihanna and Kanye West and the phenomenal smash hits, ‘Empire State Of Mind’ and ‘D.O.A(Death Of Auto-Tune) and ‘Forever Young’ featuring Mr Hudson is still riding high in the charts.  All this comes hot on the heels from winning an MTV European Music Award for Best Urban Act as well as notching up 3 Grammy awards at this years ceremony in LA.
 
Last year, the multiple award winner brought his incredible live show to British shores for a string of dates joining Coldplay, as well as record-breaking, sell-out shows at London’s Roundhouse and Alexandra Palace (the latter is nominated at this year’s NME Awards for Best Live Event).
In America, THE BLUEPRINT 3 debuted at the top of the Billboard chart selling over 475,000 copies in the first week.  With that grand entry, his 11th chart-topper, JAY-Z surpassed Elvis Presley as the solo act with the most # 1 albums in the history of Billboard.
